Bryce Looney commenced his violin studies as a 6th grader at Montford Middle School. He joined Javacya Arts Conservatory in the 8th grade where he began to study with violinist Patrice Minor-Floyd. During the 2019-20 season, he was Principal 2nd Violinist for the Javacya Elite Chamber Orchestra. Bryce is a member of the 1st violin section of the Javacya Elite Chamber Orchestra for the 2020-21 season. He has also participated in the Leon County All-County Orchestra since his 6th grade year.
Bryce has had masterclasses with virtuoso violinist Rachel Barton Pine, Australian cellist and doctoral candidate Amber Den Exter, violinist Emily Javarone, renowned conductor, Dr. Julian White (retired music Chair, Florida A&M University/Conductor-in-Residence, Javacya Elite Chamber Orchestra), conductor-composer Olivia Ahyoung, and Mr. Ralph Jean Paul, senior conductor, Javacya Elite Chamber Orchestra. Additionally, he received a fellowship to attend the 2018 SphinxConnect Seminar in Detroit, Michigan. In the Javacya Elite Chamber Orchestra, he has had the opportunity to accompany violinist Rachel Barton Pine, The Mad Violinist, vocalist Darryl Tookes, pianist Joanna Sobkowska-Parsons, and violinist Emily Javarone.
Bryce is currently a sophomore at Lincoln High School, where his favorite subject is math.

- Participating in the Alpha Millennium Academy, sponsored by the Gamma Mu Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
- Alpha Educational and Leadership Foundation
- Baseball, soccer, football, and video games
Upon graduation in 2023, Bryce plans to attend his favorite college, the University of Alabama, where he will pursue a degree in engineering while playing football with the Alabama Crimson Tide. While in college, Bryce will continue performing music.
