On December 11, Samantha Natalya Crawford graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida State University. An English Major and Music minor, Samantha’s graduating with honors is a continuation of intellectual discipline that has followed her from elementary to the present. The recipient of 2018 Best and Brightest of Tallahassee in Music, Samantha is a brilliant young woman, an exceptional talent, and a testament to discipline.

Having a resume includes studying violin at the Javacya Arts Conservatory from age 5 to 15 with violinist Patrice Floyd. Samantha’s studies include Javacya’s London affiliate, Ian Jewel, Co-founder of Cadenza International and former Director String Studies s at the Purcell School, Sphinx Performance Academy, masterclasses with Eliot Chapo (former concertmaster of the New York Philharmonic), Dawn Michelle Johnson (a member of The String Queens). Additionally, from age 15- 18, she trained with violinist Valerie Arsenault. Samantha plans to attend graduate school in Fall 2021. Congratulations Samantha! We are proud!! Samantha will audition for the Javacya Symphony Orchestra, the new professional arm of Javacya.
