Achia Floyd

Although Achia Floyd holds an MM in flute performance from the University of Missouri – Kansas City – Conservatory of Music and Dance. She also received formal training in violin, cello, and piano studies. Through the National Federation of Music Clubs of America young Floyd won her first composition competition at age 8. A noteworthy accomplishment is a joint performance of Terpsichore Winds and the renowned Imani Winds at Carnegie Hall. This debut performance will always be cherished by the city of New York and friends who traveled to attend the concert. Achia is a consultant for non-profit corporations, the CEO of her own non-profit management firm, and also the owner of a profit Florida based company.
